Do you think we can delete some of the not used files?

How do you do it that you sign your comment with hoz and not with Hoz? Is there any way to trick <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>?

Hey there,

== Wiki Search  ==
I'm not sure if empty pages like [[Armory]] will actually do any good. An article with nearly no content (or any content to the related subject) will remove the article's name from the list of wanted pages, and appear blue (ie. existant) instead of orange (ie. non-existant) wherever it's referenced in other articles. This could be a little bit misleading :)

The search function seems to also search through the HTML code of the pages: [http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Special:Search?search=center&go=Go search for "center"]<br>

Hello Hoz :)

can you please recommend me a site here in the BIKI where to add some suggestions about modding ArmA in general, like how to get ArmA start up as fast as possible. As alternative i could do a new page - again this would need a suggestion where things page should get mentioned in here. Cheers!

Well... it returns lots of irrelevant results - since I doubt anybody is searching for HTML tags...;)<br>
best regards
Not sure if an exclusion of HTML is possible (I searched around, but didn't really come across anything on this subject), but I've never had this happen to me on other Wiki sites.<br>[[User:Kronzky|Kronzky]] 23:46, 18 July 2006 (CEST)

Ok I see what you mean. Not sure how to fix that. I will do some searching as well.

Since you're the 'official connection' to OFPEC here, I wonder what you think about [http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Bohemia_Interactive_Community_talk:Community_Portal including the OFPEC tags] on the Community Portal.<br>

I'd be happy to help posting the stuff here, but I wonder what OFPEC's plans and position is on this issue?<br>

I suggest to move the content of this page to a newly created page called cfgRecoils:
http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/recoil
and make the recoil page forward to the new page. What do you say Hoz? --[[User:WGL.Q|WGL.Q]] 00:00, 22 September 2007 (CEST)

I just wrote some of the ofpec people on this very topic. hope to have an answer soon.
I renamed the current page, should it be cfgRecoil or cfgRecoils? [[User:Hoz|hoz]]

You are right, cfgRecoils! May bad :-)

== ArmA: Server configuration Windows page ==
Hi Hoz,
can we clarify the arma_server.exe -profiles= parameter use, it doesn't work when you run the dedicated server .exe, -profiles= currently does

Should the Wiki also become a depository for designer tags, as they were introduced by OFPEC a while ago?  ([http://72.14.203.104/search?q=cache:uI7vLyItq0kJ:ofpec.com/tags_about.php+ofpec+tags&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1 cached version of old page])<br>
== a:b ==
Since they affect addon makers as well as scripters the Community Portal might be the best place for them.<br>

When we add this, do you think we should add ?a:b,c,d as well? I mean this works in sqs:

I think that would be a good idea. Just start converting it. Maybe we have to protect the page so that nobody "steals" a tag.

----
I think using TAGs would be a good way of ordering both the community mods and community homepages section under one category with a respective page for each TAG. This would allow readers of the wiki to find a synopsis of the work under a TAG, as well as external web-pages, forum discussion and downloads etc all related to one addon author/group. The TAG pages can all link back under the same category, and are therefore placed in an alphabetical order by the wiki.

== Tag listing ==

It would be great, if the tags could be included in this wiki. Like if you want to register, that you have to give your name, e-mail address and tag. Like this, the tag would be "protected" in a easy way and only one person could have the specific tag.

What about this?

== ArmA Scripting commands ==

Could it be possible to have a separate category or something for the scripting commands that were added to Armed Assault? I.E. Only the commands that would show up are the ones that were added from version 2.00.
