Agree on that unless recent patches have changed that.
Ill test it tomorrow and then update here.
It is '-profiles=' and not '-profile='... -- Sy 00:22, 29 December 2007 (CET)

Some need to fix the sample configs link. It's been hacked by some idiots. --Nixer6 01:13, 26 February 2008 (CET)
dedicated server
Protegimus is saying that only -profile works on a windows dedicated server.
I cannot confirm this.
This worked for us (ArmA_Startup.bat):
arma_server.exe -config=server.cfg -port=3608 -profiles=C:\Profiles\ -name=2ndtry -maxmem=512
--PROPER Q 09:00, 30 December 2007 (CET)
Doing a simple string search on arma_server.exe shows only 'profiles=', no 'profile='. My money is on the -profiles command line argument. HitmanFF 20:16, 30 December 2007 (CET)

The -profile=XXXX never existed and it therefore never did anything. --Suma 20:35, 31 December 2007 (CET)

Protegimus is saying that only -profile works on a windows dedicated server. I cannot confirm this. This worked for us (ArmA_Startup.bat):

arma_server.exe -config=server.cfg -port=3608 -profiles=C:\Profiles\ -name=2ndtry -maxmem=512

Doing a simple string search on arma_server.exe shows only 'profiles=', no 'profile='. My money is on the -profiles command line argument. HitmanFF 20:16, 30 December 2007 (CET)

No -profile, only -profiles

The -profile=XXXX never existed and it therefore never did anything. --Suma 20:35, 31 December 2007 (CET)
