Template:Infobox AFV The AH-64 replaced the AH-1 in the US Army Aviation branch in 1982. The prototype was first flown in 1975. This helicopter is a pure attack gunship, capable of multiple attack mission types. Some other countries also ordered this gunship such as the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
