Template:Infobox AFV The AH-64 replaced the AH-1 in the US Army Aviation branch since 1985. The prototype was flown in 1982. This helicopter is a pure attack gunship for multipose tasks. Some other countries also ordered this gunship like the Netherlands or United Kingdom. The Germans wanted also order this helicopter but they didn't like him, so that the EC Tiger was born as a consequence.
