What is the benefit of this download to owners of OFP?

I don't see any new features listed. If you had done something similar to what Valve did with HL1, and released Arma CWA running under the Arma 2 (or even Arma 1) engine, then THAT would make a worthwhile download. Can BIS list some good reasons why a person should download x hundred megabytes of data that has seemingly no benefit (to the user at least). I see a list of v1.99 'fixes', but they are so spurious and minor that they are not worth the download. Indeed the blurb at the bottom implies that this new download will in all probability causes NEW glitches and problems. So, what's the story ? Why should we download it ?
