Bohemia Interactive Australia (BIA) is a branch of BIS located in Anna Bay, Australia. BIA was formed in 2002 as an initiative of both David Lagettie (Seventh - whos music features in the soundtrack for OFP) and BIS. Since formation, BIA has developed and released Virtual Battlespace 1 (VBS1) and the military history product Australians In Vietnam. BIA is currently developing Virtual Battlespace 2 (VBS2) for relelease in Q2 2007.

BIA currently supports numerous military organisations who use VBS1, including the Australian Defence Force (ADF), United States Marine Corps (USMC) and the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). BIA also performs and coordinates contract work for professional users of the VBS product range.
