Companions are tamed animals that travel with you on your voyages in the Exploration mode. They can be summoned at any time in the Radial menu.
When you tame an animal it automatically becomes a Companion, given you’ve got a free Companion slot. You can only have 5 Companions at a time. Tamed animals that are not Companions remain in their original game.
Companion actions are available in the Radial menu:
- Summon - summons the companion to your position
- Unsummon - unsummons the companion
- Release - releases the companion back into the wild
- Pet - cuddles awww
Alternativelly you can manage your Companions and Tamed animals is in the Animal Pen.
