Hardrock – User talk
Hardrock, your one template is creating many many wanted talk pages for each of the commands. Last night I broke the link and it took some time for the wiki monster to remove those links. This makes it hard to locating any errors as there are 700 or so wanted talk pages. hoz 15:55, 2 August 2006 (CEST)
- I may write a bot to go through the "wanted pages" list, and to automatically create any needed talk pages. Shouldn't be too hard. Once that thing is running we might also be able to use it for the creation of user pages/sandboxes. --Kronzky 22:40, 2 August 2006 (CEST)
- Actually, it probably makes more sense (and would be a lot less work) to just set the "Wanted Pages" threshold a bit higher. That way we don't have hundreds of empty, unused pages filling up the Wiki, and it would also get rid of lots of other references that don't really need to be on that list. (I've asked Hlavac about it, and am waiting for his answer.) I'll still keep working on a bot for other purposes, but for this issue, auto-generating pages may not be the best solution. --Kronzky 22:28, 4 August 2006 (CEST)
New Commands listed under OFP:R?
I noticed a lot (all?) of the new commands are listed in your template as "Operation Flashpoint: Resistance / V1.86". (e.g. createTrigger, deleteCenter, etc.) Is that the "official" name for ArmA (OFP:R, V1.86), or did something go wrong during the conversion? --Kronzky 01:36, 6 August 2006 (CEST)
- Those commands, and others, have those game version numbers in the comref.
- I wondered about them when entering all the commands, but, we just used the information we had available.

- The converter added the game information (OFP, OFP:R or ArmA) based on the game version. That's why those commands with version number 1.86 were listed as OFP:R. --hardrock 13:25, 6 August 2006 (CEST)
- Guess I was a bit out of touch with my OFP version numbers...;) Of course OFP:R/V1.86 couldn't be an official name for ArmA, since that is ancient'...
- So what you guys are saying is that the original comref was inaccurate? 'Cause I certainly don't remember having a "deleteCenter" in my OFP... And I just looked - it's 1.96! ;)
- That means we need somebody to go through all of the new commands and correct the game name? --Kronzky 21:27, 6 August 2006 (CEST)
I never mentioned the original comref, but, it was either missing those commands, i.e. BI forgot to include them, or they were not included for some reason.
A third possibility is the version number they gave us is inaccurate.
Unless they tell us it is a mistake I would leave it as it is for now.

- Could you two (Hardrock & Planck) perhaps have a look at the new Scripting Commands by Functionality page? I'm sure you (as the "command specialists") have some useful input for those classifications. Thanks! --Kronzky 17:33, 7 August 2006 (CEST)
- (reply moved to the talk page in question.)
VBS Command
I noticed in this command http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/createTrigger_%28VBS1%29 that the return value isn't showing. hoz 06:38, 7 August 2006 (CEST)
Note template
Not sure why in this note http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/a_%3D%3D_b that the blue box covers the example. Can you have a look? hoz 16:02, 14 August 2006 (CEST)
