In Arma 2, the radio is now an item in Arma 2. Class path is CfgWeapons->ItemRadio. Use the command addWeapon and removeWeapon to remove it from a unit's inventory. (example: player removeweapon "ItemRadio")
Use the [[addWeapon]] and [[removeWeapon]] commands to add/remove it from a unit's inventory. e.g:

The radio is now an item in Arma 2. Class path is "CfgWeapons" >> "ItemRadio". Use the addWeapon and removeWeapon commands to add/remove it from a unit's inventory. e.g:
player removeWeapon "ItemRadio";
