Returns whether one value is not equal to another.

Syntax:
a != b
Parameters:
a: Number, Side, String, Object, Group, Structured Text, Config, Display or Control; since VBS2 1.24: Location
b: Number, Side, String, Object, Group, Structured Text, Config, Display or Control; since VBS2 1.24: Location
Return Value:
Boolean - true if a is not the same as b

Examples

Example 1:
if (_counter != 4) then { hint "The counter is not equal to the number 4"; }
Example 2:
if (vehicle player != player) then { tsk = player createSimpleTask ["StormTheCastle"]; tsk setSimpleTaskDescription ["Now you have a vehicle, storm the castle.", "Mobile mayhem!", "Castle"]; tsk setSimpleTaskDestination (getMarkerPos "cstl"); tsk setTaskState "Assigned"; player setCurrentTask tsk; } else { hint "Get in the tank."; }

In OFP v1.96, comparison of strings is not case sensitive. Example : "STRINGtext" != "stringTEXT" returns false.
